Krav Maga for Fitness and Self-Protection

Krav Maga is a fighting system known for its focus on real-world situations and extreme efficiency. It is a self defense system that anyone can use regardless of size, strength, or fitness level.

However, no matter what your situation is, there are a number of things you can do today to make yourself better protected. Take a look at our situational awareness pages and add new habits into your routine.

Women Teaching Women

“It can be intimidating and a bit awkward being so close to your training partner while learning at first. It’s refreshing to have women teaching the skills to women for a change.” – Paige M.

I’m your instructor Maria, and I remember the first time I went to the training gym 11 years ago. Yeah it can be an uncomfortable start unless you’re really dedicated. At KSP we have our Female Weapon program where we help make your learning process comfortable with women instructors.

Self Protection is a State of Mind

Protecting yourself and your loved ones is a priority for us all, but many don’t yet have the tactics to do it well. At KSP we have courses that begin with raising your awareness of your habits.

Our programs on Situational Awareness, Family Safety, and Home Safety recommendations help put you on the path to being in control. We cover best practices that can be implemented today for you and your family.

Fitness and Self Protection?

You stick with a fitness program if you enjoy it. And while going to the gym has it’s rewards, it misses that something extra. Our programs at KSP provide you with training that gets you in shape while you learn empowering life skills.

I’ve found that the times I’ve been most in shape have been when I’m also improving in a sport or skill related program. Getting in shape was the extra benefit that happened because I loved the people I trained with and what I was doing. At KSP we have a range of programs that go beyond Krav Maga to keep you getting in shape and getting that new feeling of empowerment.

Self Empowerment is a Journey

I’m Maria, your certified Krav Maga instructor. I began my journey 11 years ago after our second child. I had always been interested and I finally decided I was going to start, both to get in shape and for self-defense.

I began as the student who jogged at her own pace, much slower than everyone else, and just wanted to get back in shape. I never expected that it would take me as far as it has. I began as a timid new student and went on to become a brown belt in Krav Maga, a blue belt in Jiu-jitsu, and have acquired training in tactics, various, weapons, firearms, etc. The learning doesn’t end, follow my journey here as I continue to reach new heights.

Start your journey today and join our upcoming sessions.
